Bizee (formerly Incfile) alternatives for forming an LLC (2026)

Facts checked October 13 to 15, 2026.

Bizee's Premium package is $299 once, states approximately 4 business days, and includes a registered agent for the first year only. Alternatives differ from it on a few facts. Tailor Brands and ZenBusiness state 1 business day on their compared plans and include annual report filing, which no Bizee package does. Inc Authority's Free LLC has the lowest plan cost across the first and second year ($0), and Northwest and InCorp list yearly registered agent prices below Bizee's $149/year.1, 2, 3

Why would someone choose a Bizee alternative?

Most reasons trace to what Bizee leaves out of its packages or prices later: annual report filing, speed on the cheaper tiers, the agent after its free year, a short refund window and a low BBB grade.

Annual reports aren't filed in any package

Bizee says "We provide a complete annual report filing service that takes care of your legal requirements", but that service sits outside all three packages and has no published price. Its plans include none of the three supports we count for first-time founders, which are an annual report filed for you, coaching from a person and AI guidance.4

The cheaper packages are slow

Basic states 4 to 6 weeks. Standard and Premium are faster, but even Premium's approximately 4 business days trails plans elsewhere that state a single business day or less.2

The agent is free for a year, then billed

Each Bizee package lists the agent with "1st year included". From year two it is $149/year, and the virtual address that comes with "1st month included" bills monthly if kept.2, 3

Refunds close quickly

Bizee orders are generally refundable until payment is forwarded to any government entity, typically within twenty-four hours after an order is placed. Several providers publish longer windows.5

The BBB grade

The BBB lists Bizee as C, not accredited. Its Trustpilot score is high, at 4.8 / 5 from 26,217 reviews, so the two review sources point in different directions.6, 7

The cost column covers plan fees for the first and second year only, before state fees, and it counts a yearly plan twice. It leaves out the agent renewal that starts in Bizee's second year, so the cost calculator is the place to add an agent and your state's fee.

Which alternative fits each reason to leave Bizee?

Every provider in the table beats Bizee on at least one fact we track. The list below shows each difference, then the sections group alternatives by reason.

Annual reports filed for you, plus coaching and AI help

Tailor Brands includes all three supports, with the Business Coaching Program and its Navi assistant built into every plan. ZenBusiness also includes all three supports, among them Personal Velo AI guidance. doola includes two of the three supports and Rocket Lawyer one of the three supports. Both Tailor Brands Elite and ZenBusiness Premium bill every year, so the annual report filing in them depends on keeping the plan. The first-time founders list has the full order.8, 9, 10

Faster stated filing

Tailor Brands and ZenBusiness each state 1 business day. Inc Authority states 24 hours, doola 1 to 2 business days, and Swyft Filings 3 business days on Standard, all shorter than Bizee Premium's stated time. InCorp states 1 to 2 business days before state submission, a measure of time to submission, while Bizee says of Premium, "we file within one business day of your order." Providers measure these times differently, and the state's review time varies, as the LLC timeline guide explains. The fastest filing list and Bizee vs Swyft Filings give the detail.2

More services kept for good

Bizee Premium keeps 5 of the services our method counts. Tailor Brands Elite keeps 7 and ZenBusiness Premium keeps 6. The trade-off is billing: Tailor Brands is $249/yr and ZenBusiness renews at $299/yr, while Bizee charges once. Tailor Brands bookkeeping is also a trial item (Free 30-day trial). See Tailor Brands vs Bizee and the package contents guide.10, 11, 12

Broader business services

Bizee sells 7 of the 10 business service types we track. Tailor Brands and LegalZoom each sell 9. The all-in-one platforms list and LegalZoom vs Bizee set them side by side.

Lower plan cost over the first and second year

Bizee's own Basic at $0 is the cheapest way to stay with Bizee, at the cost of its slower stated time. Among other providers, Inc Authority's Free LLC is $0 with a first year of agent service, though its agent then costs $249/year, more than Bizee's. Northwest is $39 + state fees, and Swyft Filings Standard is $199. The lowest combined first- and second-year cost list and Bizee vs Inc Authority carry the figures.1, 13, 14

A cheaper agent after year one

Bizee's agent renews at $149/year. Northwest charges $125 per year after its included year, and InCorp lists $129/year. The registered agent included list and Northwest vs Bizee compare the terms.3, 15, 16

A longer refund window

Inc Authority offers a 60-day money-back guarantee on initial online purchase, less state and third-party fees. InCorp takes refund requests within sixty (60) days of the issuance of services. Northwest purchases become non-refundable after 90 days. Each of these runs longer than Bizee's window, which ends once the state fee is paid.17, 18, 19

A higher Trustpilot score or BBB grade

Inc Authority shows 4.9 / 5 on Trustpilot from 49,233 reviews, slightly above Bizee. On the BBB, ZenBusiness is A, accredited and InCorp A+, accredited. Rocket Lawyer (A+) and Harbor Compliance (A+) are both accredited too. Our rating uses Trustpilot, not the BBB, so the grade gap doesn't enter it. ZenBusiness rates 8.0, level with Bizee's 8.0, and Bizee is listed first under our tie order. ZenBusiness vs Bizee covers the pair.20, 21, 22, 23, 24

Founders outside the United States

Bizee's only statement is a general blog article saying "non-U.S. citizens and non-residents can start their own businesses", and it doesn't say Bizee takes those orders. LegalZoom says it forms LLCs with no Social Security number, residency, or travel required, on a country page aimed at Australia. doola says it can help a non-resident without a US SSN, and its Starter plan is $297/yr. Tailor Brands links a separate sign-up flow ("Not a US-Citizen? Click Here"), and Northwest sells a foreign EIN service for $200. The non-U.S. founders list has more.25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30

What should you settle with Bizee before switching?

The LLC stays formed whoever filed it, so switching from Bizee is mostly about the services that are still billing.

The agent is the one to plan for. Bizee's terms call for assigning a new registered agent with state and notifying Bizee of the change, and Bizee may renew the agent if that notice hasn't reached it by the expiration date. So the new agent goes on the state record first, then notice goes to Bizee.5

A kept virtual address keeps billing monthly until cancelled, and Bizee doesn't publish what a Premium phone line costs after its free year. The Bizee pricing page lists each of these charges.

Bizee alternatives questions

Is there a free alternative to Bizee?

Bizee's own Basic package is $0 plus the state fee. Inc Authority's Free LLC is also $0 in plan fees, with an agent that then costs $249/year. Every option still charges the state filing fee.1, 13

Which Bizee alternative files annual reports for you?

Tailor Brands and ZenBusiness both include annual report filing in their compared plans, for as long as the plan renews. Bizee sells the service separately without a published price.

Which alternative to Bizee files fastest?

Tailor Brands and ZenBusiness state 1 business day, and Inc Authority states 24 hours. Bizee Premium states approximately 4 business days. Providers measure these times differently, and the state's own review time varies.2

Is a Bizee alternative cheaper for the registered agent?

Northwest charges $125 per year and InCorp $129/year, both below Bizee's $149/year after its free year. Inc Authority's agent, at $249/year, costs more.3, 13, 15, 16
