What is Bizee's rating, and why?

Bizee rates 8.0 out of ten. The three parts are customer satisfaction at 9.6, services and dashboard at 7.6, and plan value at 4.4.

Satisfaction is the strongest part and comes straight from Trustpilot, where Bizee shows 4.8 / 5 from 26,217 reviews. The services part counts the business service types a provider sells; Bizee sells 7 of the 10 we track and has an online dashboard.⁴

Plan value pulls the total down. Premium is paid once, so its cost over the first and second year stays at $299 before state fees, which helps. But it keeps only 5 of the services our method counts for good, and its stated time of approximately 4 business days is slower than plans that state 1 business day. The registered agent doesn't count toward contents, because Bizee includes it for the first year only.

Who are Bizee's LLC packages a fit for?

Bizee suits founders who want one formation fee with no yearly plan charge and a registered agent free for the first year. It suits less well anyone who needs annual reports filed in a package.

The package to pick turns on three facts: speed, the EIN and the operating agreement.

• Basic fits an owner with time to spare. It costs $0 plus the state fee, but Bizee states 4 to 6 weeks, and it has no EIN or operating agreement. Those two cost $70 and $99 if added.^{1, 3, 5}
• Standard adds the EIN, an operating agreement, Lifetime Compliance Alerts and Unlimited Phone & Email Support. Its stated time is approximately 2 weeks, and Bizee says that figure includes expedited filing.³
• Premium adds Expedited Filing, Ready-to-Use Business Contracts and a Domain Name + Business Email package, and states approximately 4 business days.³

Readers outside the U.S. have less to go on. The only statement in our record is a general Bizee blog article saying non-citizens can start businesses, and it doesn't say Bizee's own order flow takes non-U.S. orders. On the federal tax ID, the same kind of article says applying through a third party is "not typically available to those who do not have an SSN or ITIN". Providers that publish a direct statement are on the non-U.S. founders list.⁶

Bizee's plans include none of the three supports we count for first-time founders. Bizee sells annual report filing but lists it in no package, and our record shows no coaching or AI guidance in any plan. The first-time founders list shows who includes them.

What changes between Basic, Standard and Premium?

Standard adds the EIN, operating agreement, compliance alerts and phone and email support to Basic. Premium adds expedited filing, contract templates, a domain with business email and a free first year of a business phone line.

All three packages share a base. Each lists LLC Filing & State Registration, an Online Access Dashboard, a Business Banking Account Offer, a Business Tax Consultation and S-Corp Election Filing (IRS Form 2553). The S-Corp election item is a tax filing an LLC can choose to make; whether it suits a given business is a question for an accountant.³

Premium's contract templates are the same set Bizee sells alone: 25+ attorney-written legal documents, shown at $150 as an add-on. Bizee's order page displays that price inconsistently across packages.³

Our record also has a conflict on the compliance alerts. The Standard card lists Lifetime Compliance Alerts, yet the order page FAQ names them among Premium's additions: "a custom domain and email, business phone number, lifetime compliance alerts, and priority 4-day processing." What bills after the free period?

Two items in every package are free for a limited time. The registered agent is free for the first year and then renews at $149/year. The virtual address is free for the first month and then costs $29/month if you keep it.^{2, 7}

Premium adds a third. The business phone line with an AI employee is free for the first year, and Bizee doesn't publish what it costs after that. The page adds, "Offer valid only for US-based clients." Second-year figures for each package are on the Bizee pricing page.³

What renews, and what are Bizee's refund terms?

The formation fee doesn't renew on any package; Bizee says "our formation fee is one-time". What renews is the registered agent after its free year, plus the virtual address if kept. Bizee doesn't publish the Premium phone line's terms after its free year.³

Bizee's terms say its services "may automatically renew to keep a Customer’s legal entity in compliance." The terms also say the card on file is charged by Bizee's registered agent partner, while the agent page says, "We do not outsource our service." Our record holds both statements without settling the difference.^{2, 8}

Cancelling the agent means assigning a new registered agent with state and notifying Bizee of the change. Bizee's policy adds that it may renew the service if it isn't notified by the expiration date, so the steps run new agent first, then notice to Bizee.⁸

Refund terms are short. Orders are generally refundable until payment is forwarded to any government entity, typically within twenty-four hours after an order is placed. After the state fee has gone out, the order is generally no longer refundable, and Bizee's policy says it does not accept cancellation requests by phone or email. Our record has no separate refund terms for the registered agent.⁸

Annual reports sit outside every package. Bizee says "we handle annual report filings for you", and its page describes a "Transparent Flat Fee" without publishing the amount or how often it bills. Our LLC cost guide shows the state report fees that apply either way.^{9, 10}

On the BBB, Bizee shows C, not accredited. Bizee's site dates the company "Since 2004", and its disclaimer names the business as Incfile.com LLC dba Bizee.^{11, 12, 13}

How long does Bizee take to file an LLC?

Bizee states approximately 4 business days on Premium, approximately 2 weeks on Standard and 4 to 6 weeks on Basic. For Premium, the same FAQ adds "we file within one business day of your order."³

Basic buyers have a later option. Bizee's FAQ says, "You can add individual features like an EIN, operating agreement, or expedited filing from your dashboard after checkout." It doesn't publish the price or the speed of that add-on. For Premium, its Michigan page adds: "With our Premium plan's expedited filing option, your LLC can be processed even faster."³

How does Bizee's registered agent work?

Every Bizee package includes the registered agent for the first year at no charge. After that it renews at $149/year, the same price Bizee charges for the agent bought on its own.²

Bizee (formerly Incfile) lists its registered agent service at $149/year, renewing at $149/year (ongoing annual fee). Every LLC needs a registered agent in its state; plans that include one say so above.

A registered agent receives court papers and state notices on the LLC's behalf. Bizee says it runs its own offices in all 50 states. Legal papers served on the LLC are mailed via FedEx with tracking, and documents are promptly uploaded to your client portal.²

Naming Bizee as agent puts its address in the agent field of the state record. Other details, such as the principal office or the organizer, may still be public, depending on the state. The registered agent included list compares how long each provider includes the agent.
