Tailor Brands prices its LLC plans at $0 for Lite, $199/yr for Essential and $249/yr for Elite, all before the state filing fee. Lite is charged once; Essential and Elite are listed as yearly prices. Every plan includes a bookkeeping trial that then costs $39/month, and a registered agent is extra, at $199/year according to Tailor Brands.1, 2, 3
Lite is a single $0 order. Essential and Elite are yearly subscriptions, and Elite's higher price adds website, branding and domain tools and a larger gift card.1
The cards list each plan's published items, plus a legal document library on Essential and Elite that Tailor Brands provided but its public plan cards don't show. A clock marks an item that is free only for a set period.

Lite covers Tailor Brands' filing of the formation, with stated processing of 14 business days. It has no annual report filing, no operating agreement and no funding search.1
Essential costs $199/yr. For that, Tailor Brands files the state's yearly report, sets up an operating agreement and runs the formation in 1 business day. The funding search is listed at "No extra cost with Essential and Elite plans". The plan also comes with a $30 Amazon Gift Card.1, 2, 4
Elite costs $249/yr and adds the website, store and logo tools and a 1-year free domain to Essential's list. Its gift card is a $50 Amazon Gift Card.1, 2
Some costs sit outside every plan. Tailor Brands sells an EIN filing service with its price not published, so it can't be added here. Our EIN guide shows how to apply with the IRS directly.5
Our rating compares Elite, which keeps 7 of the services we count for good and rates 8.7 out of ten. The parts are explained in how we rate.
In year two, Lite costs nothing from Tailor Brands unless you kept a paid extra. Essential is listed at $199/yr and Elite at $249/yr, with no separate renewal price published, and any agent or bookkeeping charges come on top.1
Renewal is automatic. The general terms describe an "automatic renewal option by default for subscription-based services", so a yearly plan renews unless it is cancelled first.6
The bookkeeping and invoicing tool comes with all three plans. Tailor Brands says the free trial expires after 30 days, after which the price is $39/month. The same note says "Cancel anytime". Kept past the trial, it bills every month until cancelled, on Lite as on the yearly plans.2
Elite's domain is a 1-year free domain. Tailor Brands doesn't publish the domain's price after that year, so the second-year figure below leaves it out.1
For Elite, our figure across the first and second year is $498 before state fees. It assumes no agent. It also assumes the bookkeeping trial was cancelled before the first $39/month charge came due. Essential adds its yearly fee a second time, and Lite stays at $0.1, 2
Annual report filing is part of Essential and Elite while they renew. Tailor Brands doesn't sell it alone at a published price ("Standalone annual report price not published"), so a Lite customer who later wants filing has no listed figure to compare. Our annual report guide covers what states charge for it.1
No. Essential and Elite include "1 day expedited processing" in the plan price, so their stated processing is 1 business day. Lite states 14 business days, and Tailor Brands publishes no paid rush option for it.1, 2
Choosing Essential or Elite over Lite is the only published way to get the shorter stated time. The state still reviews the filing afterward, and some states charge their own fee to speed that up; the LLC timeline guide has the details.
Tailor Brands provided its registered agent price as $199/year and says it renews at the same price; neither figure is on a public page.3
No plan includes the agent, so on those figures a buyer who wants Tailor Brands as agent adds that amount to any plan, every year.
Refunds are limited. The terms state "all fees are non-refundable," and when a refund is made, a $29 service fee is deducted. A separate Virtual Address product is sold for a public business address, with no published price.6
No. Every Tailor Brands plan price is quoted before the state's filing fee, which depends on the state where you form.
The median state LLC filing fee in our records is $100. The state fee table lists every state, and the cost calculator adds a plan, an agent and a state fee into one total. Yearly state charges, such as a report fee or franchise tax, are also outside the plans.
For other providers' prices, see every plan we compare, the cheapest LLC services and the list ordered by cost across the first and second year. The Tailor Brands review covers terms and support, and Tailor Brands alternatives groups other providers by reason.
The Lite plan fee is $0, but the state filing fee is still due and varies by state. The bookkeeping trial included with Lite turns into a $39/month charge unless you cancel it.1, 2
Yes. The general terms set automatic renewal on by default for subscriptions, and the pricing page lists Essential at $199/yr and Elite at $249/yr. The terms add, "You can cancel your account at any given time by visiting your account settings."1, 7
It is $39/month. The trial is part of every plan, and the monthly charge starts when it ends unless you cancel.2
Not on Essential or Elite, where faster processing is part of the plan price. Lite has no published rush option.
Elite comes to $498 across the first and second year before state fees, without the agent or bookkeeping. Compare it with other plans in Tailor Brands vs ZenBusiness or Tailor Brands vs LegalZoom.
