Tailor Brands vs Bizee (formerly Incfile): LLC formation compared (2026)
Facts checked October 13 to 15, 2026.
Our rating gives Tailor Brands 8.7 and Bizee 8.0, and the two use opposite billing models. Bizee charges once, so the Premium plan cost stays at $299 through the end of year two, though its free first year of registered agent service then renews at $149/year, while Tailor Brands Elite renews at $249/yr and reaches $498, with annual report filing, coaching and a stated 1 business day of processing inside the plan.1, 2
How do Tailor Brands and Bizee line up?
The table puts Tailor Brands Elite next to Bizee Premium, the plans our rating compares, and lists the cheaper tiers too. Rows run from price and contents through speed, the agent service and the terms that apply after you buy.

Where do Tailor Brands and Bizee part ways?
The widest gap is how often you pay. After that come stated speed, whether annual reports are filed for you, and what each includes for only a limited time.
- Lower two-year plan cost: Bizee (formerly Incfile): $299 vs $498
- Faster stated processing: Tailor Brands: 1 business day vs approximately 4 business days
- More services included for good: Tailor Brands: 7 vs 5
- First-time founders: Tailor Brands: 3 of 3 supports included (annual report filed for you, business coaching, AI guidance) vs 0 for Bizee (formerly Incfile)
- All-in-one platform: Tailor Brands: sells 9 of 10 business service types we track vs 7
One payment or a yearly plan
Bizee's order page says its formation fee is one-time, and that holds on each package: Basic at $0, Standard at $199 and Premium at $299. Tailor Brands lists Lite at $0 with no yearly price, but Essential ($199/yr) and Elite ($249/yr) are yearly prices.2, 3, 4
What the yearly fee buys is the service work that continues after formation. Essential and Elite list annual compliance, described as mandatory report filing & updates, plus an operating agreement, a coaching program and funding search. Bizee puts the EIN (the federal tax ID number) and an operating agreement into Standard and Premium, then leaves later filings to separate purchases.2
Items that start billing later
Both companies include things for a set period. Tailor Brands gives every plan bookkeeping on a trial; the free trial expires after 30 days, and the charge is then $39/month. Elite also lists a 1-year free domain, and Tailor Brands doesn't publish what the domain costs after that.2, 5
Bizee's time-limited items sit on every package. Every package comes with one year of Registered Agent Service for free, and after that the agent costs $149/year. A virtual address is included for the first month and then costs $29/month if you keep it. Premium adds a Business Phone + AI Employee free for the first year, an offer Bizee says is valid only for US-based clients. It doesn't publish what the phone costs after that.1, 3, 6, 7
What does each one cost in the second year?
With Elite, the plan fee comes back in year two. Bizee Premium's fee doesn't, but the agent year it includes turns into a paid renewal. Bizee's second-year bill depends on which first-year items you keep, mainly the agent service.
Our year-two totals cover the plan price only: $498 for Tailor Brands Elite and $299 for Bizee Premium. Neither includes a registered agent in the second year. A Bizee customer who keeps the agent pays $149/year from year two. No Tailor Brands plan lists an agent, so an agent there is a separate purchase from the first year, at $199/year, a price Tailor Brands supplied that isn't yet on its public pages.1, 8
Annual reports shift the comparison the other way. Elite and Essential file the report as part of the plan, though Tailor Brands doesn't say whether the plan also pays the state's report fee. Bizee sells annual report filing separately, with no standalone price stated, so its full year-two cost can't be worked out from its pages. The LLC cost guide explains the yearly state charges.9
Which files faster?
Tailor Brands states 1 business day on Essential and Elite, where 1 day expedited processing is part of the plan price. Bizee states approximately 4 business days on Premium, and its FAQ says it will file within one business day of your order.3, 5
Lower tiers are slower at both. Tailor Brands Lite states 14 business days. Bizee Standard states approximately 2 weeks, and its order page says that time includes expedited filing, though its package cards disagree on whether Standard gets expedited filing. Bizee Basic states 4 to 6 weeks, the longest of any plan on this page.2, 3
Tailor Brands words its figure as the time to process the LLC on its side. Bizee doesn't say whether its figures include the state's own review. Our LLC timeline guide explains both stages.
What help do first-time founders get after filing?
Tailor Brands includes all three supports we count for first-time founders, and Bizee includes none of the three supports in a plan. Those supports are annual report filing done for you, coaching from a person and AI guidance.
On the Tailor Brands side, the coaching program offers a business trainer giving one-on-one guidance plus expert workshops, and its page says it comes with any plan purchased. Navi, its AI assistant, tracks filings and deadlines; the company says every plan comes with Navi built in.10, 11
Bizee's packages include reminders rather than filing. Its package lists show lifetime compliance alerts, and its order FAQ attributes them to Premium. Bizee doesn't publish coaching or an AI assistant for founders, and its annual report filing is a separate service.3
How do refunds and cancelling compare?
Bizee gives a short refund window on new orders, and Tailor Brands describes its fees as non-refundable. Both say their subscription services can renew automatically.
Bizee says orders are generally refundable until payment is forwarded to any government entity, typically within twenty-four hours after an order is placed. Cancellation requests are not accepted by phone or email. Tailor Brands' terms say all fees are non-refundable, and when a refund is issued it keeps a $29 service fee.12, 13
To end Bizee's agent service, you cancel by assigning a new registered agent with the state and notifying Bizee of the change. Tailor Brands says you can cancel your account at any given time by visiting your account settings, and its terms set an automatic renewal option by default for subscription-based services.12, 13, 14
Agent mail and your address
Bizee mails service of process (court papers delivered to your agent) via FedEx with tracking. Tailor Brands' agent page says it will scan your documents and upload them to your business dashboard. Either way, the agent's address fills the agent field on your state filing, and other fields follow your state's rules. Tailor Brands' agent terms also say you must not designate or otherwise refer to the Registered Address as your business location in any public materials. For a separate business address, Tailor Brands sells a Virtual Address product, a professional business address whose price it doesn't publish; Bizee's virtual address is the one billed at $29/month.7, 14, 15, 16
Who fits Tailor Brands, and who fits Bizee?
Each line pairs a reader's priority with the published fact that settles it, so the fit comes from the terms and not from a view of quality.
- Paying once points to Bizee Premium, whose plan cost stays at $299 through year two against $498 for Elite. Keeping Bizee's agent adds $149/year from year two.1
- A free first year of registered agent service comes with every Bizee package; no Tailor Brands plan lists an agent.
- The shortest stated processing is Tailor Brands, at 1 business day on Essential and Elite, against approximately 4 business days for Bizee Premium.
- First-time founders who want reports filed, a coach and an AI assistant in one plan get all three supports with Tailor Brands and none of the three supports with Bizee.
- For the most kinds of business services from one company, Tailor Brands sells 9 of the 10 types we track and Bizee sells 7.
- An EIN included in the price is listed on Bizee Standard and Premium. Tailor Brands offers EIN filing but doesn't publish a price, and its plan cards don't list it.
- Wanting a refund window after ordering favors Bizee, whose terms allow one before money reaches the state.
- Live chat is listed by Tailor Brands, alongside phone. Bizee lists a phone line, 1 (888) 462-3453, and Standard and Premium add email (Unlimited Phone & Email Support).3, 17
On satisfaction the two are level: both score 9.6 on that part of our rating. Tailor Brands leads on services and dashboard (9.2 to 7.6) and plan value (5.5 to 4.4). The Tailor Brands review and Bizee review cover each in full, and Tailor Brands pricing and Bizee pricing list every tier. Common questions
Does Bizee really charge nothing after the first year?
The formation package itself doesn't renew. What can bill later is the registered agent service at $149/year and the virtual address at $29/month, both free only at the start. Annual report filing is a separate Bizee service without a published price.1, 7
Is Tailor Brands Lite comparable to Bizee Basic?
Both are listed at $0 before the state fee, with no yearly price. Lite states 14 business days and adds a coaching platform and a bookkeeping trial. Basic adds the agent's first year and a month of virtual address but states a slower handling time.2
Which one includes an EIN?
Bizee lists the EIN on Standard and Premium and sells it alone for $70. Tailor Brands offers an EIN filing service, but the price isn't published and its plan cards don't list it.18
Why does Tailor Brands rate higher when Bizee costs less by year two?
Plan value is only a part of our rating, and Tailor Brands still scores higher there because of speed and contents. The two tie on satisfaction, and Tailor Brands sells more service types. The weights are set out on how we rate.
Can I form an LLC from outside the U.S. with either one?
Tailor Brands links a separate sign-up flow for non-US citizens from its LLC page but publishes no eligibility or pricing details for it. Bizee has an article saying non-U.S. citizens and non-residents can start their own businesses, though it doesn't say Bizee's own service takes those orders. Our list of services for non-U.S. founders shows which providers state it outright.19, 20
