Facts checked October 15, 2026.
BizFilings provided three one-time LLC plan prices: Basic $99, Core $199 and All-Inclusive $399, each plus the state fee. None of them renews. The only charge that follows on its own is the registered agent, which comes 3 months free and then bills $220/yr on auto-pay, so year two with BizFilings costs that agent fee, or nothing if you cancel it, plus any add-ons you choose.1, 2, 3
Each plan is one payment for the formation, quoted before the state's filing fee. The cards show every item BizFilings provided for each tier, with a clock on the agent months.

The step from Basic to Core buys two things: the EIN, the federal tax ID a bank asks for, and certified copies. Bought on its own, the EIN costs $79. A Basic buyer who adds only the EIN therefore pays less than the Core price, but goes without the certified copies and waits longer for submission.4
The step to All-Inclusive adds 1-day rush filing, a Certificate of Good Standing and business license research. On its own a good standing certificate is $39 + state fees, and BizFilings doesn't publish a price for the license research alone. On the checkout BizFilings provided, the All-Inclusive card is marked "SAVE 40%", yet no undiscounted price is shown.1, 5
The fourth card is the Foreign Business U.S. Incorporation Package at $389 plus state fees, for owners outside the U.S. Its price comes from BizFilings' public page, while the three LLC plan prices were provided by BizFilings from a checkout set up to "kickstart your LLC in Alaska". Our record does not say whether those prices differ in other states.1, 6
Our rating compares Core, which keeps 1 of the services we count for good; with it BizFilings rates 6.8 out of ten. The BizFilings review explains who each plan fits.
No formation plan renews, so the second-year bill depends on what you kept. For a buyer with no add-ons, that is the registered agent alone.
The agent is where the first and second years differ from the sticker price. Each LLC plan includes the agent 3 months free. After that, BizFilings bills $220/yr, and buyers are automatically enrolled in BizFilings' auto-pay program. BizFilings says it sends notice approximately a month before auto renewal, which gives time to cancel or switch.2, 3, 7
So a buyer who keeps the agent pays the plan price plus a full agent year in the first year, then the agent again in the second. Our figure for Core across both years is $199 before state fees; it counts the plan only, not the agent.
Prepaying is cheaper per year. BizFilings lets you select two years of Registered Agent Service for $370 or three years for $489. The non-U.S. package lists Free Registered Agent Service for 6 months, after which the agent renews at $167/yr.3, 6
Annual report filing is not in any LLC plan. BizFilings' Managed Annual Report Service carries no set price; its own service list shows "Volume Pricing". BizComply, the deadline tracker, costs $75 a year on its own and is free while you keep the agent.8, 9
On All-Inclusive, rush filing is part of the price, so there is no extra charge for its stated 1 business day (submitted). BizFilings doesn't publish a rush price for Basic or Core.1
BizFilings also describes a separate Rush Filing Service that secures the LLC's name and filed date in as little as 24 hours. BizFilings doesn't publish its price, it applies only in some states, and BizFilings doesn't say which plans include it. Our guide to how long LLC approval takes covers state timing.10
Bought without a formation order, the agent is $220 for the first year. BizFilings' service overview shows a slightly higher figure, $230/year, and our record uses the price on the agent's own page.3
Refunds follow fixed deductions. A cancelled formation order comes back less a $70 processing fee, or $95 after preliminary name check. State and supplier fees are not refunded, and agent cancellations are not refunded pro rata.7
No. BizFilings quotes its plan prices and filing add-ons plus state fees, and the state's charge depends on where you form. The median state LLC filing fee across the states we track is $100.
Later state filings come with a BizFilings service fee plus the state's own fee. Amendments are $159 + state fees, and registering in another state is $249 + state fees. Sales tax registration service starts at $219. A compliance kit with a sample operating agreement costs $129.5, 11, 12
The state fee table lists every state, and the cost calculator adds a plan to your state's fee. Other providers' prices are in every plan we compare and on the cheapest LLC services list. The BizFilings alternatives page groups rivals by the reason someone might switch.
Basic, at $99 plus the state fee. It includes the filing, a name check and 3 months free Registered Agent Services, but no EIN, which BizFilings sells alone for $79.1, 4
When the free period ends. Each LLC plan includes the agent 3 months free, and it then bills $220/yr on auto-pay, with notice approximately a month before auto renewal, until you cancel with written proof that the LLC has a new agent on file.2, 3
Only for services that renew. The LLC plans are one-time, so the yearly charge is the agent at $220/yr if you keep it, plus any annual report service you buy on a quote.3
It is included in All-Inclusive at $399. For the other plans BizFilings names no rush price, and its separate Rush Filing Service works only in some states with no price shown.1
A cancelled formation order is refunded less a $70 processing fee, or $95 after preliminary name check. State fees are not refunded, and an agent cancellation gets no partial refund for the unused time.7
