ZenBusiness vs Bizee (formerly Incfile): LLC formation compared (2026)
Facts checked October 13 to 15, 2026.
Bizee (formerly Incfile) and ZenBusiness share a rating of 8.0 on our method and list the same plan prices, $0, $199 and $299. What differs is when you pay. Bizee says each package price is a one-time formation fee, and it puts a free first year of registered agent service in every plan, so its Premium package costs $299 by the end of year two before state fees, plus $149/year in year two if you keep the agent. ZenBusiness Premium renews each year and reaches $598 with no agent included. ZenBusiness states faster processing on its paid plans, at 1 business day against approximately 4 business days, and its renewal pays for annual report filing.1, 2

Where do ZenBusiness and Bizee differ most?
Price tags match, but billing, what comes in the box and stated filing time do not, and those account for most of the gap.
- Lower two-year plan cost: Bizee (formerly Incfile): $299 vs $598
- Faster stated processing: ZenBusiness: 1 business day vs approximately 4 business days
- More services included for good: ZenBusiness: 6 vs 5
- First-time founders: ZenBusiness: 3 of 3 supports included (annual report filed for you, business coaching, AI guidance) vs 0 for Bizee (formerly Incfile)
- Founders outside the U.S.: Bizee (formerly Incfile) states it serves non-U.S. founders; ZenBusiness doesn't say
A one-time fee against a yearly plan
Bizee charges each package once. ZenBusiness Starter is also one-time, but Pro renews at $199/yr and Premium at $299/yr. That renewal is not empty: it keeps Worry-Free Compliance running, which covers the state's annual report filing plus up to 2 amendments per year. Bizee sells an annual report filing service on its own, with no amount or renewal cadence published, and doesn't put it in any package.3, 4, 5
What every Bizee plan carries
Every Bizee package lists a registered agent for the first year, a virtual address for the first month, an online dashboard, a business banking offer, a Business Tax Consultation and an S-Corp Election Filing (IRS Form 2553). Standard adds the EIN, an operating agreement and support listed as Unlimited Phone & Email Support. Premium adds expedited filing, business contract templates, a domain with business email, and a business phone with an AI employee free for the first year; Bizee says that offer is valid only for US-based clients.6
ZenBusiness puts Personal Velo AI guidance and a name search in every plan. Pro adds the EIN, an operating agreement template and a logo builder; Premium adds a domain with privacy, a business email, a document library, a one-on-one consultation and Advanced Compliance Protection, which adds unlimited amendment filings and a good standing certificate. No ZenBusiness plan lists a registered agent.3
Stated filing time on each tier
ZenBusiness states 1 business day on Pro and Premium and 7 to 10 business days on Starter, with rush for $79. Bizee's times are longer: 4 to 6 weeks on Basic, approximately 2 weeks on Standard and approximately 4 business days on Premium. For Premium, Bizee adds that "we file within one business day of your order." Its FAQ says Standard includes expedited filing, though the order card shows that item without a checkmark, so check at checkout. The LLC timeline guide separates the provider's time from the state's.3, 6
What does each one cost in the second year?
Before state fees, a ZenBusiness Premium customer pays the plan renewal again, while a Bizee Premium customer pays nothing for the package but starts paying for the agent.
| Year-two item | ZenBusiness Premium | Bizee Premium |
|---|---|---|
| Plan | $299/yr3 | no renewal |
| Registered agent | $199/yr7 | $149/year2 |
| Annual report filed by the service | in the plan | sold separately, price not published |
| Business address | not in the plan | $29/month if kept8 |
In year one, ZenBusiness prices its agent at 50% off the first year ($99) for customers who form with it; Bizee gives one year of Registered Agent Service for free. If you cancel Bizee's agent, address and Premium business phone, Bizee lists no further package charge, while ZenBusiness Premium still renews. The LLC cost guide covers the state's own yearly fees, which sit on top of both.7, 9
Trial items differ too. Bizee's virtual address has 1 month free and costs $29/month if you continue it. ZenBusiness's website builder is free for 30 days and then renews at $15/mo unless you cancel it.3, 8
What do the EIN and other add-ons cost?
On the free plans, both companies sell the EIN, the operating agreement and document templates separately, and Bizee's EIN costs less than ZenBusiness's.
- EIN: $70 at Bizee, $99 one-time at ZenBusiness.10, 11
- Operating agreement: $99 at Bizee and $99 one-time at ZenBusiness, so no gap here.6, 11
- Contract or document templates: Bizee charges $150 outside Premium; ZenBusiness sells its library for $99 one-time.6, 12
- Annual report filing: ZenBusiness charges $100 per report; Bizee doesn't publish a price.11
How do cancelling, refunds and support compare?
ZenBusiness agent service is cancelled by phone, while Bizee asks you to name a new agent with the state first; both keep refunds narrow.
Bizee lets you cancel its agent service by assigning a new registered agent with the state and notifying Bizee of the change, and its terms add that renewals may be charged by Bizee's registered agent partner. ZenBusiness agent service is cancelled by contacting customer support by phone.13, 14
Bizee orders are generally refundable until payment is forwarded to any government entity, typically within twenty-four hours after an order is placed, and Bizee doesn't take cancellation requests by phone or email. ZenBusiness refunds its agent service only if the service has not yet been used, and on yearly subscriptions cancelled after 30 days, no prorated refunds will be issued.13, 14
Legal papers reach you differently. Bizee says service of process is mailed via FedEx with tracking. ZenBusiness scans documents to your dashboard, with originals forwarded only if they can't be copied. For support, ZenBusiness offers phone, live chat and its AI assistant but no email support. Bizee lists phone support, open Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. CST.2, 14, 15, 16
Can founders outside the U.S. use either?
Neither company clearly says its own service accepts orders from founders abroad, so this category doesn't split them cleanly.
Bizee publishes an article saying non-residents can form a business, but the article does not explicitly say Bizee's service accepts non-US orders. It also says applying for an EIN through a third party is not typically available to those who do not have an SSN or ITIN. ZenBusiness doesn't publish a position. Our list of services for non-U.S. founders names providers that state it outright.17
Who should pick ZenBusiness, and who Bizee?
Each match below rests on one published fact. On our rating they tie, so neither is placed ahead on score alone.
- One package payment: Bizee, whose package price is a one-time formation fee, though its agent bills $149/year after the free year if you keep it. ZenBusiness Pro and Premium renew yearly.1
- An agent and an EIN for the least in year one: Bizee Basic plus its $70 EIN add-on, since every Bizee package includes the agent's first year. Bizee Standard includes both in its $199 price. ZenBusiness includes the EIN in Pro but charges for the agent, at 50% off the first year ($99).1, 7, 10
- Fastest stated filing: ZenBusiness Pro or Premium at 1 business day, against approximately 4 business days on Bizee Premium.
- First-time founders who want report filing, a person to talk to and AI help: ZenBusiness, whose plans include all three supports. Bizee includes none of the three supports in a package and sells report filing separately.
- A registered agent inside the package price for year one: Bizee, with the first year in every package.
- The most kinds of business services: a tie, with each selling 7 of the 10 types we track.
- Email support: Bizee, whose Standard and Premium list phone and email. ZenBusiness lists no email support.
