Bizee (formerly Incfile) vs Inc Authority: LLC formation compared (2026)
Facts checked October 13 to 15, 2026.
Bizee's rating is 8.0 and Inc Authority's is 7.1 on our method. Inc Authority's Free LLC costs $0 plus state fees and states 24 hours of processing. Bizee Premium costs $299 once and keeps 5 counted services for good, including the EIN and an operating agreement, against 1 for Inc Authority. Both include a registered agent for year one, then bill $149/year at Bizee and $249/year at Inc Authority, so year two costs more than the plan price with either one.1, 2, 3
What does each free plan leave out?
Both sell a plan that costs nothing beyond the state fee. Bizee's is the lowest of three priced tiers, while Free LLC is the only Inc Authority plan in our records. Inc Authority prices it at $0 plus state filing fees.1
Bizee Basic is $0 and lists filing, a first agent year, a first month of a virtual address and S-Corp Election Filing (IRS Form 2553). The EIN (the federal tax number banks ask for) and an operating agreement wait for Standard at $199. Bought alone, they cost $70 and $99. Bizee lists the fee on every tier as one-time, so no tier renews.4, 5, 6
Inc Authority's free plan counts one service for good in our records, its grant and funding search. Its EIN service sells for $49 on its own, and a custom operating agreement adds $89 to the order if you want one drafted. A company blog says free-plan buyers can select either a free EIN or expedited filing as part of the basic package, so the two perks don't come together. Our records hold no price for its other packages, so this page compares the free plan only.1, 7, 8

Which differences change the bill or the wait?
Price, items kept and stated speed split the two most. Each line below states the deciding fact from the providers' pages.
- Lower two-year plan cost: Inc Authority: $0 vs $299
- Faster stated processing: Inc Authority: 24 hours vs approximately 4 business days
- More services included for good: Bizee (formerly Incfile): 5 vs 1
- Higher Trustpilot score: Inc Authority: 4.9/5 vs 4.8/5
- All-in-one platform: Bizee (formerly Incfile): sells 7 of 10 business service types we track vs 4
- Founders outside the U.S.: Bizee (formerly Incfile) states it serves non-U.S. founders; Inc Authority doesn't say
The agent bill in year two
Each company is your registered agent for the first year at no charge. A registered agent accepts court papers and state mail for the LLC at an address in the state. Bizee gives one year of Registered Agent Service for free with any package, then renews at $149 a year. Inc Authority's free plan covers the first agent year too, and its card charge of $249/year lands approximately 1-year from date of incorporation.3, 9, 10, 11
So in year two the Inc Authority free plan stops being free. Its agent fee alone is higher than Bizee's, and Bizee Premium's formation price is paid once. Inc Authority's terms call the subscription cost subject to change with advance notice, and they allow a $50 late penalty when a renewal payment is missed. Bizee's terms say its services may automatically renew.11, 12, 13
Speed claims
Inc Authority advertises processing within 24 hours, and its FAQ says that with its Premium Rush Service your order is submitted within 24 hours during business hours. That is the time to send the order, not the state's answer. Inc Authority's FAQ puts state turnaround anywhere from one week to six months.1
Bizee states 4 to 6 weeks for Basic, approximately 2 weeks for Standard, which it says includes expedited filing, and approximately 4 business days for Premium. For Premium, its FAQ adds that Bizee files within one business day of your order. Our LLC timeline guide separates the service's step from the state's review.5
How do refunds and cancelling compare?
Inc Authority gives the longer refund window, with a money-back guarantee on the first online purchase that applies within the first 60 days, less state/third-party filing fees. Bizee orders are generally refundable until payment is forwarded to any government entity. Bizee puts that moment typically within twenty-four hours after an order is placed, so the window can close within a day of ordering.12, 13
After that point, both run on auto-renewing agent service. To stop Bizee's, you cancel by assigning a new registered agent with state and notifying Bizee of the change. Inc Authority takes cancellations by phone or by email to its renewals team, and it may require proof of new agent or dissolution. Its form page says to cancel within the first 12-months to avoid charges, and its terms say there is no pro-rated refund of the previous payment. Both tie cancelling to a change on the state's record: a new agent at Bizee, and a new agent or a dissolution at Inc Authority.12, 13
What help comes after filing?
Bizee leans on deadline alerts and paid add-ons after filing, while Inc Authority sells access to a person you can call with startup questions.
Bizee includes FREE lifetime compliance notifications with its agent service and sells annual report filing, with no standalone price stated. Bizee Premium also adds a domain and business email, plus a business phone line with an AI assistant free for the first year, an offer it says is valid only for US-based clients. A virtual address costs $29/month after the free month.2, 5, 14, 15
Inc Authority sells its Inc Success Advisor at $299/year: business startup staff who give unlimited phone and email support on business questions. Bizee doesn't publish a coaching service. Support hours differ too, Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. CST at Bizee and M-F 7:30am-5:00pm Pacific at Inc Authority.16, 17, 18
Which one suits which founder?
Each line rests on a published fact. Our rating orders Bizee first; the fit depends on what you need.
- Lowest cash outlay in year one goes to Inc Authority Free LLC at $0 plus the state fee, keeping in mind its blog says free-plan buyers pick a free EIN or expedited filing, not both.1
- For the EIN and an operating agreement kept for good inside the price, Bizee Standard or Premium.
- For the lower agent fee from year two, Bizee at $149/year against $249/year.2, 3
- For the shortest stated processing, Inc Authority at 24 hours, measured to submission.
- For a person to call with startup questions, Inc Authority's advisor add-on. Of the supports we track for first-time founders, Bizee Premium holds none of the three supports and Inc Authority Free LLC holds none of the three supports; Bizee sells 1 of them at a price (report filing) and Inc Authority 1 (coaching).
- For the widest range of services from one company, Bizee, which sells 7 of the 10 types we track against 4.
- For more time to ask for a refund, Inc Authority.
Neither publishes a clear position on founders abroad. Bizee has a guide saying non-U.S. citizens and non-residents can start their own businesses, but the guide does not explicitly say Bizee's service accepts non-US orders. Inc Authority only says an LLC has no limitations as to how many members can be involved or where they're located, which describes the law rather than its own order form. The non-U.S. founders list shows providers that state it directly.19, 20
