Best LLC services in Nebraska (2026)
Facts checked October 13 to 15, 2026.
On our rating, Tailor Brands ranks first for a Nebraska LLC with a score of 8.7, and its Elite plan totals $349 in the first year with the $100 online filing fee. Inc Authority has the lowest first-year total, $100, which is the state fee alone. No plan's total includes Nebraska's newspaper notice, which every new LLC must arrange.1
How are Nebraska LLC services ranked?
The order is our rating, highest first. Where two providers share a rating, our editorial order breaks the tie.
The list has ties. Bizee (formerly Incfile) and ZenBusiness share 8.0, and BizFilings and Rocket Lawyer share 6.8. The rating combines customer satisfaction, services and dashboard, and plan value, and the state you form in doesn't change it. How we rate gives the weights.

Second year: the recurring Nebraska report fee as the state lists it (some states charge it every two years) plus the plan's renewal, if it renews. Registered agent renewals are extra unless the plan includes the agent for good.
The first-year column uses the online fee of $100. Paper filed at the office costs $110, so add the difference if you or your service files that way.1
The second-year column adds the $30 paper fee for the biennial report to each plan's renewal. Because Nebraska's report is due only by April 1 of odd-numbered years, that fee lands in alternate years. A one-time plan therefore shows the report fee and nothing else in the second year, as with Swyft Filings at $30. A plan billed yearly shows its renewal on top: ZenBusiness Premium reaches $329, and Rocket Lawyer's membership, at $149/yr, reaches $179.2, 3, 4
Before any state fees, the Tailor Brands plan alone across the first and second year costs $498. doola bills Starter yearly but doesn't publish its renewal price, so its second year can't be totalled from published figures. LegalZoom lists Managed Service as a one-time formation fee plus an add-on plan that auto-renews at $49/mo after 30 days; its plan figure of $249 across both years leaves out that monthly charge. The lowest combined cost list ranks every provider that way.5
Which Nebraska LLC service fits which need?
The picks below each rest on one published fact, and the notes after them add what Nebraska's rules change. Read them against the need you have, since no single provider leads on every fact.
- Lowest first-year total in Nebraska: Inc Authority, Free LLC, $100 with the state fee.
- Lowest two-year total in Nebraska: Inc Authority, Free LLC, $130 over two years with state fees. Full list
- Fastest filing: Tailor Brands, 1 business day stated on Elite. Full list
- Best for first-time founders: Tailor Brands, all three supports included in a plan (annual report filing, coaching, AI guidance). Full list
- Best all-in-one platform: Tailor Brands, sells 9 of the 10 business service types we track, with an online dashboard. Full list
- Best for non-U.S. founders: Tailor Brands, highest-rated provider whose own pages say it serves founders outside the U.S. Full list
Each line is decided by the published fact it names. First-time founder support counts an annual report filed for you, business coaching and AI guidance; the all-in-one count is the business service types a provider sells nationally.
Lowest first-year total
Inc Authority Free LLC costs $100 in Nebraska, the same as filing alone. The second year looks low too, at $30, but that figure leaves out the registered agent the plan includes for the first year. The agent service automatically renews each year at $249/year. Its refund term is a 60-day money-back guarantee on initial online purchase. The Inc Authority pricing page lists its add-on prices.6, 7
Northwest Registered Agent follows at $139. Its agent also comes free for the first year and then renews at $125/yr, a lower renewal than Inc Authority's.8
Fastest stated filing
Tailor Brands states 1 business day on Elite, and ZenBusiness states 1 business day on Premium. Nebraska's fee schedule lists no paid expedite; its guidance is that online filings are processed first. So a service that files online gets the state's faster queue at no extra state cost. Bizee (formerly Incfile) lists Expedited Filing in Premium without saying what it covers in a state with no expedite fee. The fastest filing list compares stated times across providers.9, 10
First-time founders
We count three supports for a first-time founder: the recurring state report filed for you, coaching from a person, and AI guidance. Tailor Brands includes all three supports: mandatory report filing on Essential and Elite, its Business Coaching Program with any plan, and Navi, its AI assistant, since every plan comes with Navi built in. ZenBusiness also includes all three supports, with state-required annual report filings on Pro and Premium, Personal Velo AI guidance, and a one-on-one consultation, Premium only. doola includes two of the three supports, offering Annual State Report Filing on its higher plans and an AI Co-Founder.11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17
Nebraska's recurring report is biennial, and these providers describe their filing as annual report filing without naming Nebraska's report. A plan billed yearly also bills in the years when no Nebraska report is due. The first-time founders list shows each support provider by provider.
One provider for formation and after
Tailor Brands and LegalZoom each sell 9 of the 10 business service types we track, and Bizee (formerly Incfile) and ZenBusiness each sell 7. That counts what a provider sells at any price, not what a plan includes. See the all-in-one platforms list.
An agent for service of process included
Nebraska calls the registered agent an agent for service of process, and the role must go to an individual who is a resident of this state or other person with authority to transact business in this state (Neb. Rev. Stat. § 21-113). Several plans include one, mostly for a limited time.18
- Bizee (formerly Incfile) includes it for the first year with any Bizee formation package, then charges $149/year.19, 20
- Northwest Registered Agent includes the first year, then $125/yr.8
- BizFilings gives 3 months free, then $220/yr.21, 22
- doola lists its agent as free with Formation Service, without a stated duration, and bills Starter yearly.23
The registered agent included list puts these side by side.
Founders outside the U.S.
Tailor Brands links a separate sign-up flow for non-US citizens from its formation page but states no eligibility details. doola says it can help a non-resident without a US SSN, and LegalZoom's page for founders abroad mentions forming with no Social Security number, residency, or travel required. The non-U.S. founders list covers the rest.24, 25, 26
What does Nebraska charge no matter who files?
Nebraska charges the same $100 online filing fee whether you file yourself or a service files for you. The notice, the proof of publication and the biennial report add state or newspaper costs on top.1
- Formation filing fee: $100 online, $110 in office
- Faster state processing: No paid expedite service listed; online filings are processed first
- Recurring report: due every two years (biennial report), by April 1 of odd-numbered years; delinquent June 16, $30 (paper filing)
- Optional name reservation: $30
- Publication requirement: Notice of organization must be published for 3 successive weeks in a legal newspaper near the designated office; proof of publication is filed with the Secretary of State. Check whether a provider's plan covers it; the totals above don't include publication costs.
The notice is the cost that sits outside every comparison. Nebraska requires notice of the new LLC to be published for 3 successive weeks in a legal newspaper near the designated office, and proof of publication is filed with the Secretary of State for $25 online or $30 in office. The newspaper's own charge isn't in our state record, so no total on this page includes it. Our provider records don't mention the Nebraska notice for any plan, so confirm with a service before you buy.27
The biennial report follows. Its paper fee is $30, and an LLC that misses the delinquency date can be administratively dissolved. Provider report services list the state fee as extra, so using one doesn't remove it.2, 3
Who files the biennial report, and what goes public?
Plans that file reports call them annual, while Nebraska's report comes due every other year. Tailor Brands Elite lists mandatory report filing, and ZenBusiness Premium covers state-required annual report filings.11, 14
Both plans renew each year, so each Nebraska report spans a pair of paid plan years. Swyft Filings adds a 14-day trial of ComplianceGuard to every plan, which turns into a paid subscription unless cancelled.28
The report itself asks for the designated office street and mailing addresses, the principal office street and mailing addresses and the name and addresses of the agent for service of process. An agent service puts its own address in the agent field. If you don't want a home address on the report, the designated and principal office lines need another address too.29
Trial items deserve a check before checkout. Tailor Brands Elite includes a bookkeeping trial that then bills $39/month. The Tailor Brands pricing page and the ZenBusiness pricing page list what each tier bills after its trial.30
Can you form a Nebraska LLC without a service?
Yes. You file the Certificate of Organization online, in person or by mail with the Nebraska Secretary of State, pay $100 online, and arrange the newspaper notice yourself.1, 31
Doing it yourself also means naming your own agent for service of process (yourself, if you live in Nebraska) and keeping track of the report due by April 1 of odd-numbered years. The Nebraska formation guide walks through each filing and the notice in order, and the cost calculator shows what a plan adds over the state fees.3
Nebraska LLC service questions
Do Nebraska LLC services include the state filing fee?
No. The plan prices we compare are listed before the $100 online filing fee. The first-year totals here already include it, which is why Inc Authority's total of $100 equals the fee.1
Will a formation service handle the Nebraska newspaper notice?
Our records of each service's plan details don't mention it. Nebraska requires the notice to be published for 3 successive weeks in a legal newspaper near the designated office, and the proof filing costs $25 online. Ask a service directly before counting on it.27
Can I pay to get my Nebraska LLC approved faster?
Not from the state. Nebraska lists no paid expedite, and its advice is that online filings are processed first. A service's rush option speeds up its own preparation, not the state's review.9
Which service is cheapest for a Nebraska LLC?
Inc Authority has the lowest first-year total at $100. Its included agent then automatically renews each year at $249/year. Northwest Registered Agent comes next at $139, with an agent renewing at $125/yr.6, 7, 8
What does a Nebraska LLC cost in its second year with a service?
It is the plan's renewal, any agent renewal, and the $30 biennial report fee in the years the report is due. For Tailor Brands Elite that comes to $279 in a report year, and for a one-time plan such as Swyft Filings Standard it is $30.2
Can I reserve a Nebraska LLC name while I compare services?
Yes. A name reservation costs $30 and is separate from any plan. The state fees table compares it with other states.1
