Best LLC services in Arkansas (2026)

Facts checked October 13 to 15, 2026.

Tailor Brands ranks first on our rating for forming an Arkansas LLC, at 8.7 out of ten, and its Elite plan totals $294 in the first year once the $45 online state fee is added. Inc Authority has the lowest first-year total, $45, which is the filing fee alone. Whichever service you pick, Arkansas then charges every LLC a flat $150 franchise tax with its yearly report, due May 1 each year.1, 2, 3

How is the Arkansas list of LLC services ordered?

Providers appear by our rating, highest first. Where two share a rating, the tie follows our editorial order.

The first-year figure in each row is the plan we compare plus the Arkansas online filing fee for the Certificate of Organization (Form LL-01). Filing on paper costs $50 by paper instead, so a service that files by mail would add a little to that figure. Trial items that start billing later are left out of the totals.4

Two pairs share a rating here. Bizee (formerly Incfile) and ZenBusiness both sit at 8.0, while BizFilings and Rocket Lawyer share 6.8. The rating blends customer satisfaction, services and dashboard, and plan value, and no part of it changes from state to state; how we rate gives the weights.

Ordered by our rating, highest first; ties in our editorial order. Totals add the Arkansas state fees to each provider's compared plan.

Second year: the recurring Arkansas report fee as the state lists it (some states charge it every two years) plus the plan's renewal, if it renews. In Arkansas that includes the $150 yearly LLC tax. Registered agent renewals are extra unless the plan includes the agent for good.

Every second-year cell reads "Can't total". Our Arkansas record doesn't list a separate fee for filing the yearly report, only the $150 tax that goes with it, so the table leaves the cell open rather than guess. What we can compare is the plan itself across both years, before any state charge. Tailor Brands Elite comes to $498, ZenBusiness Premium to $598, and doola Starter to $594, though doola's own terms say the plan renews at rates then in effect, with the renewal price not stated. Add the $150 tax to any of those for an Arkansas second year. The list ordered by cost across both years ranks all providers on the plan figure.5

Which Arkansas LLC service suits which founder?

Each pick below comes from a published fact about the provider, and each heading names the need it answers and the fact that decides it.

Several of them turn on one Arkansas detail. The yearly report carries a tax, so the question of who files it also covers who pays it.

Each line is decided by the published fact it names. First-time founder support counts an annual report filed for you, business coaching and AI guidance; the all-in-one count is the business service types a provider sells nationally.

Lowest first-year total in Arkansas

Inc Authority Free LLC costs $45 in the first year, the same as filing alone. Its plan includes a registered agent for that first year, and the agent then renews automatically each year at $249/year. Added to the $150 tax, that renewal makes the second year cost more than the first unless the agent is cancelled or replaced. Its refund terms are a 60-day money-back guarantee on initial online purchase, less state/third-party filing fees. The Inc Authority profile covers what it sells as add-ons.6, 7

Northwest Registered Agent has the next lowest first-year total, $84, and its included agent renews at $125/yr after the first year. The cheapest services list shows the national order.8

Fastest stated filing

Tailor Brands and ZenBusiness each state 1 business day on their compared plans, Inc Authority states 24 hours, and doola states 1 to 2 business days. Those are the providers' own stated times. The Arkansas office then completes most filings within two business days of receipt, and the state doesn't publish a paid rush option in our sources. So the differences between services here sit on the service's side. Bizee (formerly Incfile) lists Expedited Filing in its compared plan without saying what that means for an Arkansas filing. The fastest services list ranks providers on stated speed.9

First-time founders

We count three kinds of help for someone forming a first company: the annual report filed for you, coaching from a person, and AI guidance. In Arkansas the first one carries extra weight, because a missed report also means a missed tax payment. Tailor Brands includes all three supports: mandatory report filing on Essential and Elite, its Business Coaching Program with any plan, and its Navi assistant, built into every plan. ZenBusiness includes all three supports: filing of state-required annual reports on Pro and Premium, Personal Velo AI guidance, and an advisor consultation on Premium only. doola offers its AI Co-Founder on every plan, but Starter does not include ongoing compliance filings. See the first-time founders list for every provider.10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16

One provider for what comes after formation

Out of 10 business service types we track, Tailor Brands and LegalZoom each sell 9, and Bizee (formerly Incfile) and ZenBusiness each sell 7. The count says what a provider sells, including paid extras, not what the plan price includes. The all-in-one list has the full order.

Registered agent included, and for how long

Arkansas requires the agent to have an in-state street address. The registered agent's address must be a street address in Arkansas, and the agent must be located at that address. A plan that bundles an agent saves the owner that step, but mostly for a limited period.3

Tailor Brands sells its agent on its own at $199/year, and ZenBusiness gives 50% off the first year ($99) with a formation. The agent included list compares the bundles.21, 22

EIN in the plan

An EIN is the federal tax number the IRS issues. LegalZoom lists EIN (federal tax ID) in Managed Service, ZenBusiness lists EIN in Premium, and doola lists Employer Identification Number (EIN) in Starter. The EIN included list goes further.14, 20, 23

Founders living outside the U.S.

Tailor Brands links a separate sign-up flow for non-US citizens from its formation page, with no eligibility details published. doola says it can help a non-resident without a US SSN, and its Starter plan includes a US business address. Northwest Registered Agent charges $200 to get an EIN for an owner without a Social Security number. An owner abroad also needs an agent at an Arkansas street address, so the agent terms above apply. The non-U.S. founders list has the detail.24, 25, 26, 27

What does Arkansas charge whoever forms the LLC?

Arkansas charges $45 online or $50 by paper to file the Certificate of Organization, and that fee sits on top of every plan price. The yearly $150 franchise tax follows, with or without a service.1

The tax is the cost no service can take away. Under the franchise tax rules an LLC that files on time owes only the flat $150, whatever it earned, and paying online adds a $5.00 card processing fee. A late report adds a $25 late filing penalty plus interest for each day. The tax also keeps running while the LLC sits unused. Franchise taxes continue to accrue, even for revoked businesses, until the company is dissolved, withdrawn or merged.2

A name hold is the other optional state charge, at $22.50 online or a little more on paper. The state doesn't publish a rush fee in our sources, so services can't differ on that charge.28

Who files the Arkansas franchise tax report, and what goes public?

Because the report and the tax travel together, a plan's annual report filing may or may not include paying the $150. None of the published pages we use says how they handle that in Arkansas.

Tailor Brands Elite lists mandatory report filing, and ZenBusiness Premium covers state-required annual reports. Northwest Registered Agent sells general annual report filing at $100 + state fees, charged at filing. None of those listings names the Arkansas franchise tax report. Ask any of them whether the tax is paid through them or billed to you separately.10, 13, 29

The report also decides what the public sees. It asks for the registered agent name and Arkansas street address and the member- or manager-management and their names. A registered agent service puts its own address in the agent field, but the names of members or managers still appear. Owners who want their names kept off filings should know that an agent service doesn't change that part.30

Watch the trial items too. Tailor Brands Elite includes a bookkeeping trial that then bills $39/month, and LegalZoom notes that its Business Advisor Plan auto-renews at $49/mo after 30 days. The LegalZoom pricing page and the Tailor Brands pricing page list what each tier bills later.23, 31

Can you form an Arkansas LLC without a service?

Yes. Arkansas takes the Certificate of Organization straight from owners, and you pay only the state fee. The state lists its methods as Online (credit card), or print the PDF and mail or deliver it, and the office completes most filings within two business days of receipt.1, 32

Doing it yourself leaves two jobs. You need an agent at an Arkansas street address, which can be you if you are located in the state, and you need to remember the report and tax each May with no service sending a reminder. The Arkansas formation guide walks through each filing, and the cost calculator shows what a plan adds over the state fee across both years.

Arkansas LLC service questions

Is the Arkansas filing fee included in a service's price?

No. Every plan we compare adds the $45 online Arkansas fee, and the first-year totals above already include it. That is why Inc Authority's $45 equals the state fee.1

Which service has the lowest cost for an Arkansas LLC?

Inc Authority has the lowest first-year total at $45, with an agent that renews at $249/year after the first year. Northwest Registered Agent comes next at $84. Either way, the $150 franchise tax arrives in the second year.7

Will a formation service pay my Arkansas franchise tax?

The published plans don't say. Several list annual report filing, but in Arkansas the report and the $150 tax are one filing due May 1 each year, so ask whether the tax is paid through the service or charged to you.

Can a service get an Arkansas LLC approved faster?

Only on its own side. The state completes most filings within a short window after receipt, and it doesn't publish a paid expedite option in our sources. A service's stated speed is its own time, separate from the state's review.

Does a registered agent service keep my name off Arkansas records?

Not entirely. The agent's address replaces yours in the agent field, but the yearly report still lists members or managers by name. An agent service can't change that part.

What does an Arkansas LLC cost in the second year with a service?

Count the $150 franchise tax, any plan renewal and any agent renewal after a free period. Before state charges, Tailor Brands Elite comes to $498 over both years, not counting trial items that bill afterwards.
