Best LLC services in New Hampshire (2026)

Facts checked October 13 to 15, 2026.

Tailor Brands ranks first on our rating for a New Hampshire LLC, with a score of 8.7, and its Elite plan totals $349 in the first year and $349 in the second, state fees included. The lowest totals in both years belong to Inc Authority, at $100 and then $100, which are the state fees alone. New Hampshire charges $100 to form and $100 for each annual report, so every total here carries both.1

How are New Hampshire LLC services ranked?

Our rating sets the order, highest first. When two providers share a rating, they keep our editorial order.

Each row adds New Hampshire's fees to the plan we compare for that provider. The first-year figure is the plan plus the $100 Certificate of Formation fee; the second-year figure is any plan renewal plus the $100 annual report fee. Items that start billing after a trial, and agent renewals after a free period, sit outside both columns.1

Bizee (formerly Incfile) and ZenBusiness tie at 8.0, as do BizFilings and Rocket Lawyer at 6.8. The rating is built from customer satisfaction, services and dashboard, and plan value, none of which change from state to state; how we rate gives the weights.

Ordered by our rating, highest first; ties in our editorial order. Totals add the New Hampshire state fees to each provider's compared plan.

Second year: the recurring New Hampshire report fee as the state lists it (some states charge it every two years) plus the plan's renewal, if it renews. Registered agent renewals are extra unless the plan includes the agent for good.

New Hampshire's report fee is flat, so the second-year column is filled in for every provider. That makes the gap between one-time and yearly plans easy to read. Plans with a one-time price drop to the $100 report fee in year two, while yearly plans repeat. Tailor Brands Elite, ZenBusiness Premium and Rocket Lawyer Standard membership publish a renewal price, and across both years, before state fees, they come to $498, $598 and $298. doola Starter is also billed yearly, but doola doesn't publish its renewal price, so its second-year figure repeats the first-year price as an assumption. The list ranked by cost across both years orders every provider that way.1

Which New Hampshire LLC service fits which need?

The picks below come from published facts, one need at a time. Which one fits you depends on whether price, speed or what comes after formation weighs most.

Each line is decided by the published fact it names. First-time founder support counts an annual report filed for you, business coaching and AI guidance; the all-in-one count is the business service types a provider sells nationally.

Help with the yearly report and first steps

In New Hampshire, annual report filing in a plan refers to a report due between January 1 and April 1 each year, with a $100 fee and a $50 late fee after April 1 if it's missed. The first-time founder supports we count are that report filed for you, coaching from a person, and AI guidance.1, 2

Tailor Brands includes all three supports. Report filing comes with its Essential and Elite plans, its Business Coaching Program comes with any plan, and its Navi assistant is built into every plan. ZenBusiness also includes all three supports. Its Worry-Free Compliance covers state-required annual report filings and is included in Pro and Premium; it offers Personal Velo AI guidance on every plan, and the one-on-one advisor consultation is Premium only. doola includes two of the three supports, with Annual State Report Filing on its higher plans; Starter does not include ongoing compliance filings.3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8

doola leaves the state fee with the customer on its report filing (state fees paid by customer). Tailor Brands and ZenBusiness don't publish whether their plans cover the $100 state fee, so expect to pay it unless the provider says otherwise. The first-time founders list covers every provider.1, 8

Lowest cost in the first and second year

Inc Authority Free LLC comes to $100 in year one and $100 in year two in New Hampshire. Both figures are state fees only. The registered agent it includes for the first year then renews at $249/year, which is more than the state charges for the report, and its refund terms are a 60-day money-back guarantee on initial online purchase, less state/third-party filing fees.9, 10

Northwest Registered Agent follows at $139, then $100, with its agent renewing at $125/yr. The cheapest services list has the national order, and the Inc Authority price page lists what it sells on top.11

Stated filing speed

Tailor Brands and ZenBusiness each state 1 business day on their compared plans, and Inc Authority states 24 hours. Those are the providers' own stated times. The state's review is separate, and New Hampshire says online filings take no more than 10 business days. The fastest filing list orders providers by their claims.12

Registered agent coverage

Under N.H. Rev. Stat. Ann. § 304-C:36, an individual can act as agent only as a person who resides in this state and whose residential or business office is identical with the registered office. Owners outside the state need an agent who meets that rule, often a paid service, and plans differ on how long one is included.13

Tailor Brands sells its agent separately at $199/year. The registered agent included list puts the plans side by side.18

One provider for later services

Of the 10 business service types we track, Tailor Brands and LegalZoom sell 9, and Bizee (formerly Incfile) and ZenBusiness sell 7. Selling a service is different from including it in a plan, so check the plan contents. See the all-in-one platforms list.

Founders living outside the U.S.

A founder abroad can't act as the New Hampshire agent, so the agent terms above apply in full. doola states it accepts non-U.S. founders, and LegalZoom says it forms LLCs for founders without U.S. residency. Tailor Brands links a separate sign-up flow for non-US citizens but publishes no eligibility details. The non-U.S. founders list compares them.19

What does New Hampshire charge whoever files?

New Hampshire charges $100 to form the LLC and $100 for each annual report, whether you file yourself or through a service. The plan prices we compare don't include the formation fee, and none says it pays the report fee.1

The state's rush option is narrow. Faster turnaround costs $25 and is offered only in person at the Customer Lobby, with no rush listed for filings sent online. Bizee (formerly Incfile) lists Expedited Filing in its compared plan without saying how that works in New Hampshire, given the state's in-person rush.12, 20

Online filings with the state carry a $2.00 handling charge. Then there is the $50 late fee after April 1, which the state charges whenever the report is late, whoever was meant to file it.1

Which providers sell annual report filing on its own, and at what price?

Several providers sell annual report filing as a general service, without naming New Hampshire, and each price below is quoted before state fees, so the $100 New Hampshire fee comes on top.1

That last one is a trial item. If you form with Swyft Filings and don't want ComplianceGuard, note the date the trial ends. The Swyft Filings price page and the package contents guide explain which items are included for good and which start billing later.

Is filing a New Hampshire LLC yourself enough?

It can be, since New Hampshire takes filings directly from owners online through NH QuickStart, by mail or in person, for the $100 fee. You'd file Form LLC-1 yourself and name your own agent.1, 25, 26

Doing it yourself leaves you with the agent and the report. You need an agent who meets the state's office rule, which works if you live in New Hampshire and use your own address. You also need to remember the report each spring. The New Hampshire formation guide covers every step, and the cost calculator shows what a plan adds over the state fees.

New Hampshire LLC service questions

Does any service include the New Hampshire filing fee?

No. Every plan we compare adds the $100 formation fee on top, and the totals on this page already include it. That's why Inc Authority's first-year total of $100 equals the state fee.1

What will a New Hampshire LLC cost in its second year with a service?

The state's $100 report fee, plus any plan or agent renewal. Tailor Brands Elite totals $349 in year two and ZenBusiness Premium totals $399, while one-time plans fall to the state fee alone, before any agent renewal.1

Do any services include annual report filing for a New Hampshire LLC?

Some plans include annual report filing as a general service. Tailor Brands lists it in Essential and Elite, and ZenBusiness in Pro and Premium. Others sell it separately, such as Northwest Registered Agent at $100 + state fees. New Hampshire's report is due between January 1 and April 1.2, 21

Can a service get my New Hampshire LLC approved faster?

Only partly. A service can submit quickly, but the state's own rush costs $25 and is offered only in person at the Customer Lobby. Online filings otherwise take no more than 10 business days.12

Which service costs least for a New Hampshire LLC?

Inc Authority has the lowest totals in both years, $100 and then $100, but its agent renews at $249/year after year one unless cancelled. Northwest Registered Agent is next at $139.9

Do I need a service if I live outside New Hampshire?

You need a New Hampshire registered agent, and a person can act only if they live in the state and use that office. A qualifying company can also serve, so a paid agent service meets the rule, either inside a formation plan or bought on its own.
